The team you'll be part of
The Nokia Cloud Mobile Gateway (CMG) goes beyond network virtualization with an optimized cloud-native software design that supports the evolution of advanced 4G, IoT/MTC and 5G services. It delivers the high performance and subscriber scalability to address the growth in users, devices and applications, and the associated demands for high bandwidth and lower latency. The CMG supports multi-access connectivity by converging multiple mobile gateway functions onto a single, general-purpose computing platform while offering multiple configuration options that provide deployment flexibility.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Software Development team located in Athens Technology Center and work together with very talented engineers, in a technically challenging and stimulating environment.
What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:
- Write QA testing libraries using Python language.
- Write test definitions using Robot/Behave
- Read and convert tcl scripts
- Use Linux/Unix commands and execute bash/shell scripts
- Implement DevOps pipelines using GitLabCI or other CI tool
- Deliver on time the tasks you committed to.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- BSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent degree
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, TCL, Bash) and Linux operating systems (RedHat/CentOS)
- Experience in Git revision control and knowledge of CI / Automation tools (GitLabCI, Jenkins, Robot Framework)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, fluent English spoken and written
It would be nice if you also had:
- Cloud-oriented competence in Openstack
- Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts)
- Familiarity with cloud-based automation tools (Ansible)
- Exposure to TCP/IP networking
